I made this in a pinch with ingredients I had sitting in the pantry. The cake is pretty darn tasty even without the frosting. My peanut butter-loving family says this is now their favorite dessert. And what doesn't go with peanut butter? You can drizzle chocolate on the frosting or place sliced bananas between a two layered cake. Your favorite jam would go great dolloped on top of cupcakes!
